BOOKS
For several years I was the collection developer for the fiction, foreign language, and large print collections at Orem Public Library. It was a dream job: twenty hours a week of reading review journals, ordering books, weeding old books, and--most fun of all-- looking through the new books. It was there, standing over the cart, thumbing through the first few pages of the new arrivals, that I discovered many gems I might have otherwise missed. Here are lists of a few of the books that turned out to be my favorites.
